The Dusk Chapel Another outstanding entry in Elf Power's massive and amazing catalogue of psychedelic folk! Similar structures as the last few albums, but gently expanding the soundscapes. Riegers's lyrics continue his themes of mystical prognostication, dire portends, and sage advice to great effect combined with driving, hypnotic rhythms and dark melodies. Favorite track: Clean Clothes.

PDD I cannot compare this album to previous Elf Powr efforts because I somehow only just discovered the band. However, I can say this is perhaps the most melodic album I have heard this year and that I look forward to checking out the rest of their catalog. Favorite track: Artificial Countrysides.
